About RPM
The RPM shop was started by Casey Dobbeck in Pleasanton California, 2008.
From the beginning, Casey has always worked on cars…
Casey Dobbeck grew up in the automotive industry. When he was three years old, he was helping his father work in the garage on numerous jobs. From working on hot rods and race cars, to drag racing, road racing, circle track, to Bonneville land speed, to hot rods, and muscle cars.
At age eight Casey started racing quarter midgets. At age 12 Casey was doing full jobs by himself for his dad. By age 13 Casey was crew chief for a very successful IMCA Dirt Modified race team.
Throughout high school, Casey did many repairs for fellow students and teachers, including but not limited to, some restorations and many performance upgrades. During and shortly thereafter; Casey worked at an automotive machine shop, breaking down and rebuilding engines. He then proceeded to work at "All Automotive of San Ramon", where he performed general service work on various makes and models of vehicles.
After completing two years of work experience, Casey was approached by the world famous Brian Crall, the owner of a renown Ferrari service/restoration shop, and was offered a position as Brian's head Technician. After a little over 2 years working at the Brian Crall Company, an opportunity arose to begin his own business.
Casey knew that the risk was high, due to today's economy, but, as they say; you only live once. He is now the proud owner of Restoration Performance Modification. At R.P.M. Casey specializes in anything from full restorations and custom builds, to performance upgrades and general services.
